- Hike Okemo Mountain and grab an icy beer after at Tom’s Loft at the clocktower base!
- Ride to the the top of Okemo Mountain on the orange bubble chair. June 17 – Sept 6. Hike or take the chair back down.
- Mountain Biking at Evolution Park.
- Rent a Kayak or paddle board and enjoy one of the many local lakes.
- Hike Mt. Ascuteney for amazing views and challenging trails.

- Manchester Designer Outlets are a fantastic way to spend an afternoon and find great deals in a charming old town setting.
- Antique shopping at one of the many fantastic antique stores in Chester. Our three favorites are the Stone House, Vermont Picker and William Austin’s.
- Vermont Country Store in Weston, is always a favorite with any age group and just 11 miles from Ludlow.
- Visit Simon Pearce In Quechee to see glass blowers hand make the glasswares. Try the restaurant for a wonderful lunch or dinner!
Foodies Love Vermont
Fresh is always better. Between our fantastic farm to table restaurants, local Friday farmer’s market and vegetable stands along the road you’ll have plenty of opportunity to treat yourself.
- Visit a local cheese factory! Our local Crowley Cheese Factory just outside of ludlow, or take a drive to Plymouth Cheese Factory in Plymouth.
- Try out one of the many farm to table local restaurants in town!
- Ludlow Farmers Market every Friday 4-7pm from May 27 to Oct 7th. Find fresh produce, local honey, amazing baked goods, organic meats, sample local wine and lots more. Just a short walk from our Ludlow vacation rentals!

History Buffs Love our area
- Learn the history of Ludlow at our own Black River Academy Museum on High Street. Check their website for hours of operation
- President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site. Tour Calvin Coolidge home, village and see his gravesite in Plymouth.

- Experience Vermont Farming. Visit a farm, try Billings in Woodstock for a variety of activities all summer long
- Gamebird, a retro arcade, (think 80’s and 90’s favorites) full bar and food. New to Ludlow, located on Main St in the Village. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- Try your skill at navigating through a 12 acre corn field maze. The Hathaway farm and corn maze ranks #2 in the nation. Check the website for opening, usually around the end of July and closes at the end of Oct.
